Pakistan Super League (PSL) 5 opening ceremony was held on Thursday, February 20th, at National Stadium, Karachi.
There were at least 350 artists including Sanam Marvi, Abu Muhammad, Fareed Ayaz, Abrar-Ul-Haq, Aima Baig and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan who electrified the swarm.
The musical part of the opening ceremony commenced with a complex orchestra, which included trumpeters and dhol players, playing the instrumental version of the reputable PSL 2020 anthem, “Tayyar hain”.
It was followed with a speech made by the worthy President along with CEO of Habib Bank Limited, Muhammad Aurangzeb. PCB chairman, Ehsan Mani, beautifully narrated the board’s journey from shifting the entire PSL from UAE to its actual home, Pakistan.

“Pakistan is opening its door to the rest of the world, and PSL is making this happen,” he said.

Lastly, the Franchise owners along with their captains as well as children from the Deaf Reach School were called on stage for an oath-taking ceremony regarding fair play.
