According to an article published by Economic Daily-China Economic Net, an effective drug is being bought by the Chinese government, from Pakistan, to combat the coronavirus. The current numbers drawn up by CEN’s investigative team indicate that about 300,000 tablets of chloroquine phosphate has been exported to China. Interestingly, these tablets were all made within 24 hours and Pakistan practically gave two-thirds of these free of cost.
The article garnered over 5.7 million page views, 38000 likes and 10,000 comments. Most of these comments exhibited respect for Pakistan in aiding China during such a difficult time. Furthermore, CEN also acknowledged the efforts of several heroes in making this happen; and looks forward to identifying all the people who are quietly doing everything they can to combat the outbreak.
